TOUCAN SUNDAY IS THE SECOND SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH. Bring your aluminum cans for the youth of St Mark's to recycle. Feel free to pull up by the door and let the kids unload your cans for you.

HEY HIGH SCHOOL KIDS Just a reminder that you are invited to Sunday School on Sunday mornings too!!

Our Sunday school hour takes place at 9:30am on Sundays between the two worship services.
Our Preschool Sunday School program is designed to meet the needs of our very active three and four year old students. Activities include stories, games, crafts, songs, videos, playtime, and more.
Our Elementary Sunday School program is based on a rotation model. In this model, students learn the same story two weeks in a row through a variety of activities found at various stations. The goals are to reach all types of learners and to help children internalize these important stories. All levels of learners visit Children’s Care Hospital and School at least once a month. The purpose of this ministry is two-fold. First, our students can share the Good News of Christ’s love with the students at CCHS. Second, and equally important, our children encounter students with a wide range of abilities and learn that God’s love is for everyone, even if they are different than us.
Our middle school Sunday school program is based on the mysteries of the Bible. Each week the students try to solve different mysteries of the Bible.
The High School program is a time for students to reflect and build their faith in preparation for service in the church.
The children’s choir consists of students in Preschool through grade 5. Children rehearse during the first 20 minutes of the Sunday School hour. This group sings during the church service every other month and has two programs a year. Youth Choir This choir is open to any students in grades 4-9. This strictly voluntary group will meet on Wednesday nights from 6:00-6:45, just prior to confirmation.
The Youth Choir will sing during the church service every other month and may be asked to participate in the two Sunday School programs as well.

Adults meet during the 9:30 Sunday School hour to enrich their faith and expand their knowledge.

Confirmation is a concentrated program of Christian education which - at St. Mark's lasts - for two years and occurs during a young person's 7th and 8th grade years. We meet each Wednesday evening throughout the school year for an hour of study and discussion. This year we will begin with an orientation meeting for all the students and their parents at 7:00 pm on September 7. Our first class will be held on the following Wednesday. This year we will be studying Luther's Small Catechism. We will be concentrating on the meaning of the Ten Commandments, the Lord's Prayer, the Apostle's Creed, and the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion. As we go through our lives, God encourages us to learn more about Him and to apply what we have learned to our lives and relationships. The goal of St. Mark's confirmation program is to prepare our young people for life in God's kingdom.
